Everyone introduced their Chapter and experience in MyMachine in their country.
For the third year in a row, the Institute participated in MakerFaire Zagreb which was held on European square on October 2nd and 3rd.
Institute’s new project “MyMachine Hrvatska” was introduced to the public where anyone could draw their DreamMachines on paper and use their imagination the best they could.
After signing the Cooperation Agreement with the MyMachine Global Foundation, which enables the launch of the MyMachine Croatia project, an introductory meeting was arranged with co-founder and director Piet Grymonprez. The meeting will be held for three days.
Colleagues from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, FabLab NGO, and the Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation are involved in the implementation of the project. The idea of the meeting is to explain how to start the project MyMachine Hrvatska, who is involved in the implementation, the system of implementation of activities provided by the project, and the time of the workshops.
We are certainly eager and curious to hear a lot of interesting information from the excellent and skilled Piet.

Today, May 14th, 2021 was signed a Cooperation Agreement for the launch of MyMachine Hrvatska as part of MyMachine Global, located in Belgium, between the University of Zagreb Faculty of Architecture, FabLab NGO, and Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation.
It is planned for the Institute to be director of project MyMachine Hrvatska while FabLab and Faculty will be the core of future project partners.
Today we have been visited by Adam Maltese, a professor at Indiana University, USA. We have informed him about the already held project “Together and Responsible for Environmental Benefit” in 2020, that we have registered for 2021. We brought him out our ideas for future projects for which we got a letter of support. For that, we thank the professor and we look forward to future collab.
It is our pleasure to inform you that the Institute of Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation, represented by Zrinka Valetić, held an online introductory meeting with Mr. Piet Grymonprez, co-founder and director of MyMachine Global, and with the professional help of Roberto Vdović, president of FabLab NGO, and presence of FabLab’s representatives Iva Valenčić and Tin Valetić.
Although the contact had been established many years ago with this meeting all the hard work for launching MyMachine Hrvatska is again being renewed.
For the second time in a row, the non-governmental organization FabLab from Zagreb managed to organize MakerFaire Zagreb on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020, in front of the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum, respecting all epidemiological measures.
The Institute had the opportunity to participate as an exhibitor and present the “Together and Responsible for the Environmental Benefit” project. The project was presented to those interested in the device purchased with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb. The device consists of a granulator and an injector. Pieces of discarded plastic (e.g. bottle caps) are inserted into the granulator and crushed. Crushed pieces of plastic are inserted into an injector where they melt at high temperatures then extruded into the prepared desired shapes.
We thank the FabLab team for the effort they have put into the organization for this significant event and we hope we will see you at the next MakerFaire 2021.
