Following the successful initial small pilot projects ZODO and ZODO 2, implemented in 2019 and 2020, the Institute applied for the project Together and Responsible for Environmental Welfare called BIOPLAnet for funding from the European Social Fund in a call for popularization of STEM areas.
The BIOPLAnet project was successfully evaluated and the financing agreement was signed on December 30, 2021. years.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the civil society organizations involved in the project to popularize the STEM area by raising awareness of the circular economy and using recycling to improve the environment in which we live.
Institute of Entrepreneurship Education and Innovation with the help of partners, Carpe Diem, Association for Encouraging and Developing Creative and Social Potentials of Children, Youth and Adults from Karlovac, Association for Promoting Creative and Healthy Life “Otok” operating in Prvić, Association for Creative Social Work working with vulnerable groups, the Fablab Association to promote digital fabrication, will create local ecosystems around recycling devices in its environments and thus encourage awareness of the circular economy. With the support of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb and the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum in Zagreb, a circular economy corner will be organized that will allow visitors not only to get acquainted with the topic, but also practical work in the field of recycling. In order for these activities not only to be in the partners’ environments, the project is also organizing a mobile center that will work in local communities throughout Croatia on the goal of this project, popularizing STEM by raising awareness of responsible behavior in the environment.
The visual identity of the project is being developed, and study trips are being prepared, with the aim of gaining insight into the topics of the circular economy, the education needed to implement the project.
